‘기대감’이라는 단어가 인쇄된 풍선이 공중에 떠있는다. 천장 가까이에 머물던 풍선은 시간이 흐르며 서서히 높이를 잃고 바닥으로 내려온다.
우리의 기대감은 확실한 답이 오기 전까지 점점 커지며 아직 일어나지 않은 순간들을 상상한다.
그러나 답이 도착하지 않더라도 기다리는 시간은 감정의 형태를 조금씩 바꾸어놓는다.
팽팽했던 표면이 느슨해지고 그 위의 글자가 구겨지는 동안, 기대감은 사라진다기보다 이전과 다른 무게와 높이를 갖게 된다.

Until a definitive answer arrives, our expectations swell, imagining moments that have not yet transpired. Yet even if an answer fails to arrive, the time spent waiting steadily reshapes the contours of our emotions.
As the once-taut surface grows slack and the letters printed upon it wrinkle, the expectation does not disappear so much as it acquires a different weight and altitude.
While Waiting for an Answer renders the invisible time of waiting tangible through the slow downward movement of a balloon transitioning from air to floor.
