이윤서 YOUNSER LEE (b.1994, Seoul, South Korea)
일상을 이루는 사물과 상황을 바탕으로, 시각적이고 참여적인 방식으로 사회적 맥락 속에서 관계와 경험이 형성되는 방식을 고민합니다.
제 작업들은 사람들이 사회 속에서 무심히 지나치는 감정과 관계, 시간의 상태에 잠시 머무르는 경험을 만드는데 초점을 두고 시작합니다.
작업들은 대부분 고유의 결말을 가지고 있는 형태가 아닌 살아 있는 경험을 우선하는 과정 기반의 참여적 상황으로 전개되며,
예술과 일상이 결합되는 지점을 통해 과정의 감각과 직접 경험의 가치를 드러내는 구조를 만들며, 참여자는 머무르고 움직이는 경험 속에서 관계를 맺습니다.
그 안에서 발생하는 감각과 감정, 상호작용의 과정은 결과로 정리되기보다 삶의 시간 속에서 지속되는 하나의 매개로 남기를 바랍니다.
각 작업은 하나의 에피소드처럼, 삶을 이루는 찰나의 감정과 관계, 기억, 그리고 천천히 축적되는 시간의 결을 담고 있습니다.

Starting from objects and situations of everyday life, I explore how relationships and experiences are formed within social contexts through visual and participatory approaches.
My work creates situations that invite people to spend time within states of emotion, relation, and temporality that are often passed over without notice in daily life.
By bringing art and everyday life into contact, I construct structures that foreground the sensory dimensions of process and the value of direct experience. Within these situations, participants form relationships through acts of staying, moving, and engaging.
The sensations, emotions, and interactions that emerge are not intended to be resolved into outcomes. Instead, they remain as ongoing mediations that continue within the time of lived experience.
Each work functions like an episode, holding fleeting emotions, relationships, and memories that shape everyday life, along with the subtle textures of time that accumulate slowly.
