As we eat every day, we feel every day.
Our emotions shift constantly, shaped by our daily experiences— and once the day is over, the feeling often disappears with it.
Sometimes we can recall the memory of an emotion, but no one can truly preserve the exact feeling of a specific moment, no matter how hard they try.
This project explores how to represent these fleeting, one-time emotions through an installation.
The plates are made from a special liquid clay poured into a leather-hard clay form.
This gives them a sense of physical solidity, similar to real plates, but once placed in water, they quickly dissolve back into a formless liquid.
The fragile and changeable nature of the material symbolizes the ephemeral, consumable quality of our daily emotions.
As part of the installation, viewers are invited to throw the plate into a glass water tank, watching it collapse and lose its shape.
This act represents the way we generate, experience, and discard feelings— just as we do each day, often without realizing it.

우리가 매일 음식을 먹듯, 우리는 매일 감정을 느낍니다.
일상의 경험에 따라 감정은 끊임없이 변화하며, 하루가 지나면 그 감정도 함께 사라집니다.
때로는 어떤 감정을 기억해낼 수는 있지만, 그 순간의 감정을 정확히 동일하게 보존하는 일은 불가능합니다.
이 작업은 하루 동안의 덧없는 감정을 어떻게 예술로 표현할 수 있을지에 대한 고민에서 출발했습니다.
작업에 사용된 접시는 특수한 액상 점토를 가죽 경도의 흙판에 부어 만들어졌습니다.
그 결과 실제 접시와 유사한 단단한 질감을 갖지만, 물에 닿으면 곧바로 다시 형태 없는 액체 상태로 무너집니다.
이처럼 불안정하고 유동적인 재료의 성질은 일회적이고 소비되는 감정의 속성을 상징합니다.
관객은 이 접시를 유리 물탱크에 던지는 행위에 참여하게 되며, 그 과정에서 접시는 조각나고 형태를 잃습니다.
이 행위는 우리가 매일 감정을 만들고, 경험하고, 소모하고, 버리는 그 일련의 과정을 시각적으로 드러냅니다.
그리고 그것이 얼마나 빠르게 사라지고 잊혀지는지를 보여줍니다.
